- Provide information about personal data associated with your account.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete account information.
- Delete your account and associated personal information where applicable.
- Request information about how your personal data is used.
- Request other privacy-related assistance available under applicable law.
2. How to Submit a Request
Submit your privacy request through Contact & Support or email: support(@)socialmediacircle.com .
Please clearly identify the type of request you are making and use the email address associated with your SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC) account whenever possible.
3. Information to Include
- Your SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC) username.
- The email address associated with your account.
- The type of privacy request you are making.
- A description of the information or action involved.
- Any additional information reasonably necessary to identify the account or process the request.
Never send your password, authentication codes, complete payment card number, or other account credentials with a privacy request.
4. Account Verification
To protect SMCians from unauthorized access to their information, SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC) may need to verify the identity or account ownership of the person submitting a privacy request. We may request reasonable information necessary to complete that verification.
5. Account Deletion
You may request cancellation or deletion of your SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC) account through the available account or support procedures.
Account deletion may remove or disable access to your profile, messages, groups, SMCVerse participation, Pets, SMCX, Gifts, referrals, game activity, and other account-associated features.
6. Information We May Need to Retain
Deleting an account does not necessarily mean that every record can be immediately or permanently erased.
SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC) may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for:
- Legal or regulatory obligations.
- Fraud prevention and security investigations.
- Payment and transaction records.
- Dispute resolution and enforcement of agreements.
- Protection of the rights and safety of SMCians and SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC).
- Maintaining necessary technical, audit, or backup records.
7. SMCVerse & Game Records
SMCVerse activity may generate records relating to Pets, SMCX, Gifts, transactions, referrals, rankings, game activity, and other platform operations. Some records may need to be retained after account cancellation for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, security, technical, or legal purposes.
8. Transaction & Payment Records
Certain payment and transaction records may need to be retained after account deletion where required for accounting, fraud prevention, payment disputes, legal compliance, or other legitimate operational purposes. Such records may not be deleted immediately solely because an account has been cancelled.
9. Public & Community Content
Content posted through SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC), including profiles, timelines, groups, comments, Gifts, tags, and other community features, may be subject to separate technical, moderation, backup, and legal-retention requirements. Removal of an account does not necessarily mean every historical reference or backup copy is immediately removed.
10. Correction Requests
If you believe information associated with your account is inaccurate or incomplete, contact us with the relevant details. Where appropriate and technically possible, we may correct or update the information.
11. Requests Concerning Other People
We generally cannot provide, modify, or delete another SMCian's private account information merely because someone else requests it. Requests concerning another person's information may require authorization or another lawful basis.
12. Third-Party Services
Some information may be processed by independent service providers used to operate SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC), such as payment, hosting, security, email, or other infrastructure providers. Requests involving information controlled by another provider may also need to be handled according to that provider's procedures.
13. Legal Limitations
Privacy rights and deletion rights vary by jurisdiction. A request may be subject to legal exceptions, identity verification, retention obligations, third-party rights, security requirements, or other applicable limitations.
14. Request Processing
We aim to process legitimate privacy requests within a reasonable period. The time required may depend on the nature of the request, verification requirements, complexity, applicable law, and the amount of information involved.
15. Repeated or Abusive Requests
SocialMediaCircle.com (SMC) may take appropriate steps where requests are clearly abusive, fraudulent, excessively repetitive, or submitted for purposes unrelated to legitimate privacy rights, subject to applicable law.
16. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through privacy requests. However, users should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information and should never provide passwords or authentication credentials through email or support requests.
